Please anyone can I have some advice or if anyone's been through the similar situation I'd like to hear , my son has struggled with reflux and recently it's got really bad , he got put on neocate milk and lansaprazol, it's been 4 days now I understand you need to wait 4 weeks but my anxiety is killing Me , tonight my sons had 2 what I call "acid reflux fits" he can't catch his breath after I'm guessing some acid comes up , he screams and cannot get back into rythem
With his breathing for atleast a minute I've been to the hospital twice about this and they just concentrate on the milk issue. After these acid attacks he sounds like he has such a wet cough! He's on carobel milk thickner also which I've notice gives him bellyache and makes him gip quiet a lot.
It's getting me so so down to the point I feel like I don't want to do this not more I'm Pertrified everyday of something happening to my son, he screams if he isn't on me I'm emotionally down and depressed , I can't give him a bottle or gripewater nothing or he will choke and start throwing his body all over , then as he calms down he just looks very lathargic and goes to sleep, I've told the pediatrician this also. I'm thinking by reading into stuff it really sounds like GERD but again I'm not a doctor :/ anyone else had these acid attacks??
