Is early teething concerning?

HV and childminder don't seem bothered in the slightest but I'm wondering if teething has impacted my child's development.

He got his two bottom middle incisors at 6 months as is pretty normal. Since then, it's been rapid fire on the teething front. He had 12 teeth by 11 months. The only thing left to appear now are his top canines, and he turned 15 months yesterday. His second molars started emerging 2 weeks ago and they're basically through now. His bottom canines haven't popped through but they are swollen and very red and I can feel them just below the gum.

He isn't walking yet but is bearing weight well, has been cruising since he was 7 months, crawling since 10 months, but isn't talking, only has a couple of words, and is a HORRENDOUS eater. I can't overegg how much he struggles with eating and it must be to do with how much pain he's been in for months on end. He still has 20oz of milk a day because he refuses food when in the midst of the worst teething and signs for milk. He's miserable most of the time. We have a few weeks of sunshine every now and then before another tooth or two starts coming.

I know there's nothing I can do about it really, and I give him calpol, nurofen and anbesol liberally when I feel he needs it. I'm sure he will catch up and I do still feel he is normal for his age. Just wondering if anyone else had a quick/early teether and if it impacted them in any way?

Mine had 10 teeth at 12 months, all 20 teeth shortly after his 2nd birthday. I don't think it has impacted his development at all - but he has quite a strong pain threshold now!

My DD is the same and is 14 months now. Refused to eat anything apart from her milk until around a month ago. She eats everything in sight these days. I genuinely think it was her teeth popping through. He gums were permanently red and swollen. She’s also a confident cruiser but not walking yet and has only just properly started babbling. I wouldn’t be concerned.
