Hi all,
Looking for some advice.
Ds2 is 16 weeks and FF since birth. He’s never been a very good sleeper compared to ds1 and only once slept 4 hours through, mostly waking every 2-3 hours. For the last few weeks his sleep has been getting worse rather than improving. He will occasionally sleep for 3 hours at bedtime at
7:30/8pm but is then up almost every 1-2 hours. For the last week he’s started waking up at 4am wide awake, giggling and wanting to play. He then stays awake until around 7am and falls asleep an hour. By the time 7am comes around ds1 (2) wakes up and I’m exhausted (I’m a single mum so no chance of resting during the day).

Whenever he wakes up during the night he’s wanting a bottle (normally 4oz) and refuses a dummy. Sometimes he’ll drink the full bottle, other times he’ll drink an oz or two. He drinks around every 2/3 hours during the day 4-5oz. I’ve tried spacing the feeds out and offering 6oz instead but he’ll never take more than 5. Weight wise he was born on 9th centile at 38 weeks and now on 35th so growing well and very long for his age.

He normally sleeps around 2/3 hours during the day in his pram but any other naps are very short and he will only sleep on my chest. He also gets upset when he is sleepy and will only fall asleep being rocked standing up with white noise playing. He has to be out for the count otherwise he’ll wake up as soon as I put him in his next to me and cry. I‘ve tried cosleeping with him in the hopes he would sleep better but to no avail. He’s also a very light sleeper and even opening the door as quietly as possible wakes him up

Any advice greatly appreciated! :)
