Cupboard door locks

I got these kitchen cupboard door locks on Amazon and am really regretting it! They have pulled the cupboard wrap off when DD has tried to force the door and exposed the plywood underneath. I don't know how I'd repair it. The same thing has happened on another unit door when I've tried to remove them.

I was wondering if anyone has used these before and knows how to remove them without damaging the door underneath? I've attached a photo and they are made by a company called BabyGo.

Thanks for any help 🙏

I haven't removed them myself, but I assume they're attached via an adhesive? Oil (and a bit of elbow grease) dissolves glue.

We used locks that go on the inside of the cupboard; to open you hold a magnet on the outside.

@UnravellingTheWorld I wish I'd gone with those! Our friends have them too and they look like a much better option. I'll try some oil on them and hope they pop off more easily! Thank you xx

I had something similar and used a hairdryer then dental floss on the adhesive to remove them.

How creative! That might just work. Thanks - will give it a go 👍
