Is this ring worm?

Hi mumsnetters,

Just wondering if anyone has any idea what this is on my son’s face? I’ve been in touch with the gp three times and have been prescribed hydromol, timodine and hc45 but now thinking it looks like ringworm. Anyone experienced anything similar and can shed any light. DS is perfectly fine otherwise, eating and playing normally etc, no fever.

I could have written this myself. My almost 3 year old girl has this in almost the exact same place and I tried everything and nothing has helped. Thought it was impetigo at first. I’ve started using canasten on it as I had some and it looks like it s clearing up!

Did you ever find out what it was/ get rid of it?
