Sleepsuit for baby with big legs?!

My DS is 11 months and has massive legs! 😆 he is already 93rd percentile so in 12-18 clothes (and has been for about 2 months). The problem is that his sleepsuits for bedtime are pretty snug around his legs. We've had problems with leaking in the past which has been mostly solved with nappy pants, but he leaks more if the sleepuit is tighter (makes sense, to be fair!).

Has anyone found any particular brands that are good for babies with big legs?! I don't want to size up yet because 18-24 would be massive on the top half! Or do I go the pajama route and size up bottoms but not tops?!

Just size up sleepsuit, it will be fine.
Da has always outgrown the size he was age wise before he got to that age.
So at 11 months outgrowing 9-12,and 12-18 depending on cut.

0-12 ish months he was just high percentile everything, then he’s slimmed right down to underweight apparently but still tall. He’s now just turned 4, and he’s been in 110cm for ages (age 5) and I buy anything new Like tops 116cm (age 6). Most European clothes sell by cm rather than age which is much better

a lot of clothes btw are ‘up to’ that age. Did you know that? For example age 4 actually means ‘ fits up to age 4’, not buy when they are 4.

Bonds wondersuits are really stretchy and big sizing so they last for ages. They have foldover feet so can be footless if needed

Thanks! I didn't know that about sizing!

I'm convinced he'll stop growing at some point too because his father and I are not tall at all! DHs family is actually really short! I've been the same height since age 11 so thinking that DS might just be doing all his growing now haha!

We mostly swapped to separates at that age but you could just as easily stick with a sleepsuit if you prefer, sizing up will be fine and you can just turn over the sleeves if they’re long.
