No 9-12 month check

My daughter is nearly 1 and I'm returning to work in a couple of weeks. My health visitor hasn't arranged the 12 month check yet and hasn't sent me a questionnaire either. She told me she's busy and won't be able to see my daughter before I go back to work.

How important is the 12 month check? Can I just skip it? I don't want to take time off work.

Do you have concerns?
If your child is going to be in childcare, they can be brilliant at picking up development issues.

She's my first child so I don't have anyone to compare her to.

No it's a complete waste of time if you don't have concerns. Call HV say you can only do it in the next few weeks otherwise will opt out

I think that's what I'll do. I'm not going to take time off work for this. I thought HV would've organised it already.
