Tell soft play about hand, foot and mouth?

My 18 month old daughter had irritated skin yesterday that the Dr thought was an excema flare up so we went to a soft play after picking up a prescription. She had a dreadful night and woke up this morning covered in spots. We recieved an email from her nursery this morning saying there are a number of cases of hand foot and mouth. That's obviously what's she got, but do I call the soft play we were at yesterday to let them know?

Why wouldn't you?

Sorry your DD is ill, hope she makes a speedy recovery. Realistically I don’t think there is much they can do - they hopefully disinfect thoroughly anyway. Unfortunately it’s just one of those things that happens frequently at child play centres as it’s inside, there is close contact and the balls get put in mouths. I always go to soft play on the basis that DD has about a 25% chance of catching something.

I would feel awful if any of the kids playing with her got sick. We never would have gone if I'd known but the doctor literally just told us it was eczema. It was quite quiet, I just hope the other kids are okay. My 3 year old was there too and she'd fine thankfully.
