Co sleeping

So my 15 month old was a total mummy’s boy he wouldn’t even go to his dad but he’s getting abit better now but instead he’s glued himself to me on a night. Like he won’t sleep away from me he has to be on me. Me and the kids co sleep on a super king sized bed so there’s plenty of a room but they both sleep on top of me. Last night they both had an arm each and the baby slept on my stomach.

Why is this happening? My daughter doesn’t bother with me during the day only on a night

simple answer, you are their world and you make them feel safe and secure, plus sleeping close to you gives them with warmth and comfort.

skin to skin literally releases feel good chemicals like oxytocin!

We’re all just animals at the end of the day; strip it back and they’re just little — night time is dark & scary and our primitive brains still worry that we might get eaten by a bigger predictor. Being close to mum is just instinct.

Exactly.
