It's not something that ever crossed my mind sorry.

I don't see what fun any child can have on these. They're so small

Have you looked at a play couch?
Possum play or Zonky are the main brands.
They are much more versatile than the one your looking at.

We have the set in your photo - got it off fb marketplace for dd’s 1st birthday. She is 18 months now and still plays on it. I would recommend looking on fb and other secondhand places for a bargain!

I have seen these used by lots of children from crawling up them to walking up them and used in imaginative play too. I don't think it is a waste of money.

The problem is, it's more fun to take to the actual sofa cushions off because then you stop mummy and daddy having a rest for 20 seconds before they have to put on the next load of washing.

I've got the set on the photo. Both of my children have had lots of use out of it. And any visiting children love it too. Will probably sell it once they have both outgrown it. Probably about 5+ years of play and will still get a decent amount of money on reselling so for me it was expensive but worth it.

I had one similar to your picture. My kids used it daily for almost five years. They would climb all over it as young toddlers and then use it for den building as they got older

Gigi00 · 10/06/2024 10:28

Would the play couch provide much fun for a 16 month old? Or is it more older children who can turn into dens etc

@Gigi00 my 7 month old loves climbing and crawling over the play couch, we have some extra wedge shapes that make a slide/ramp like in your picture.
It's not a cheap option but worth considering, the bases of our possum play has even been used as a temporary bed when the older children are ill and want to sleep in our room.

We have this one. Eldest is 6 and still plays with it, they are more versatile than you'd expect especially with lights, scarves and other props for den building.

We have a ball pit from kiddimoon, and I'm sure I've seen sets like this on their website.
