Is this eczema or something else?

So my little boy has eczema on his head and was starting with a little patch on his tummy and these little spots. We had been using child's farm moisturiser on him but I took him to the pharmacy on Friday as it looked quite angry. They have given us Dermol to use 3 times a day's but it just seems to have gotten worse.

Any advice? I have used baby aveeno on him in the past but he seems to have come out in a rash with that too. I've attached a photo.

Thanks.

Poor Bub! Get a GP appointment. Hydrocortisone will work if it’s eczema to clear it up. Not sure you can get it over the counter for babies and worth just getting the GP/nurse to look. Then a regular emollient cream daily.
Wash baby clothes with non bio too.
Could also be a bit of a reaction to the cream/ heat rash?
My DC has eczema and so do I, it’s totally under control for us with getting hydrocortisone on as soon as a little flair up occurs!

Thank you.

Funny thing is I actually took him to the doctor's on Thursday for the eczema on his head and just got told to put moisturizer on because it's not bad enough to prescribe anything.

We stopped putting any cream on and overnight it's pretty much gone. Just going to stick with the child's farm after his bath. He's had a similar reaction to both aqueous cream and baby aveeno so there must be something in them that doesn't agree with him

It doesn't look like eczema to me. Possibly an allergic reaction. But I would be very wary of using hydrocortisone on a baby. It is incredibly damaging stuff
