Tummy bug recovery

DS5 has had a horrific tummy bug the last 24 hours, diarrhoea and vomiting, from 7pm til 3am, then again around midday today.

I'm hoping he's now on the mend. I've obviously read the NHS advice, he's resting, watching tv, just eaten a piece of toast and an electrolyte drink.

Just wondering if there's anything else I could be doing to help him feel better and cared for?
Any tips and tricks from more experienced Mums?!

Ready salted crisps..
Salt, carbs and gentle on tummy (and carpet) if throw up again. And tasty.

When mine had a horrible tummy bug last I found ice lollies were great for getting something into him when he wasn't eating or drinking much. Sounds like you are doing a great job though, hope he gets better soon

BRAT (banana, rice, apple, toast) is surprisingly effective once any food can be tolerated and has enough taste & variety to keep it up for a couple of days.
