Rotavirus vaccine. Concerns about passing virus on

My newborn had her oral rotavirus vaccination yesterday and the nurse told me not to kiss her as it could spread the virus. However my 2yo just took her dummy out and stuck it in his mouth. Just for a few seconds. Should I be worried about him catching the virus?

Op, it's possible. After my second DS got his rotavirus vaccine, my older toddler DS managed to catch it and then pass it to me and DH. It was a fun week.

Not much you can do now, just see how they are. Lots of hand washing to minimise the spread
