What’s the going babysitting rate?!

Ds is babysitting for a local family tonight and hasn’t agreed rates. When she’s done odd jobs for them before they’ve been VERy generous, so we are nervous they will overpay her!! What’s a sensible hourly rate (kids are a bit older so she played/put them to bed) We are SE/outer london if that makes a difference.

We are north and pay £10 an hour…plus we usually make sure there is access to plenty of snacks (this was always the best part of babysitting!)

She has sent me a photo of the snacks she’s got, so they have that covered!!

Out of London you would expect to pay £10ph..you want to pay a descent amount so they will be locked after!

Don't forget to pay 1.5 rate after midnight, or double even + taxi home.

Ahhh, @Lokioh35 - I don’t think he’s locked them anywhere so maybe they’ll underpay!!
