Has anyone’s little one been diagnosed with cmpa purely on skin?

I’ve been back and forth with GP and HV and not getting anywhere. My baby (4 months) poo are fine. Only thing is past 2/3 weeks he’s been really irritable, scratching his head to the point he’s making it bleed and his skin on tummy has become kind of rash like? They said it could be dry so putting moisturiser on doesn’t work, nothing else has changed, same milk, same laundry powder same bath wash

It’s driving me insane!!!

Anyone got any idea what this could be or had anything similar? GP said it isn’t heat rash/scarlet fever/meningitis

Not diagnosed but suspected based on skin alone. DS had horrific eczema. I mean horrific. Tried every cream under the sun.

It would just come all over, go away and then keep coming back all day.
Only symptom so it took a while for a doctor to agree to try a new formula.

Eventually the doctor did put him on a dairy free formula and the difference was amazing. We did the milk ladder at 1 and he handled it very well and is now 2 and can eat anything but between 6 months and a year I swear the switch in formula changed it over night.

Thank you! Glad to hear everything has got better! Just wondering, do you think the pictures of my little one looks like eczema? Does it look similar to how yours looked? X

No worries! Totally get what you mean.

Yes please, that would be amazing! His head is so itchy bless him, really worried about him scratching/making himself bleed but don't want to constantly restrict his hands x

That looked like my baby’s skin at the start of eczema.
