I am looking for a paediatric neurologist for my 14 year old daughter. We have been referred through BUPA but am having difficulty locating anyone near up. She has adhd, autism, POT's and vestibular migraines and we have been advised that she needs to see a paediatric neurologist to assess the situation and get a treatment plan in place for the POT's and migraines, but are struggling to find anyone covered by BUPA and I can't pay privately as I have no money since my husband left me last month and is being very difficult about finances.

What area are you in? and is the problem that the private consultants available are not approved by Bupa or that you cant find one at all? Usually if they are not fee assured you could pay the difference rather than pay the whole amount, however when my daughter was under a neurosurgeon via the NHS he didn't work privately at all. We decided to stay NHS as we didn't want to start again with a new surgeon when he seemed so knowledgeable.
