Which is better

We had two but I wish we'd had 3.

Two is perfect for us. One parent for each child.

I don't think either is better, it just depends on the family.

I never wanted a third. No desire to be outnumbered, or need a bigger car, or 2 of them to have to share a room, or to create a middle child, or to not fit into one hotel room etc.

Nobody can tell you what's better because it's not objective. But I can't imagine wanting 3.
