I have noticed my 2.5 y/o vagina looks different over the last few weeks. Initially I told myself I perhaps had never noticed however now my mum has mentioned it I am anxious again.
My girl is still in nappies so I see her bits regularly and had noticed not long ago it looked more.. how do I put it, open? I had never really noticed the entrance to her vagina until now and sorry it feels very strange speaking about her like this.. but is this normal? She had been complaining of a 'sore bum' recently too. I am going to take her to the GP due to her complaining of pain anyway but it's making me incredibly anxious.
I expressed my anxiety over this to my mum and she said that although mines and my oldest sisters did not look like this my younger sisters did. It's just strange that I wouldn't have noticed this before and she suddenly noticed it now too.
I guess the reason I'm anxious is she spends a lot of time not in my care ie nursery, her other grandparents house etc and although I trust everyone the things you hear nowadays you can't be too careful.
If someone has ever noticed this or could ease my anxiety please do and apologies for the details!
