Sorry! but ds's ex bf and poos are usually yellowy, curry like, they are still the same but have a jelly like substance amongst them, any had this? or know what it could be? he seems ok in himself, biting down on his thumb rather than sucking, so wondering if it could be related to teething?

Children sometimes get a runny nose when teething, so could it be that he's swallowing nasal mucus? Remember my two being like this when teething.

My baby had this at 2 weeks and after a search on the internet (with several medical sites advising a GP visit) we took him to the out of hours doctor (it was a Friday night). Our baby was absolutely fine, but it is recommended that you see a doctor, at least phone NHS direct or your own out of hours service to double check and be on the safe side.
