6mo suddenly not eating foods

Hi all,

I began weaning my daughter at 5 and a half months old and she loved it. She was eating all sorts. I'd stick to a certain taste for a couple of days and then move on to the next.

the past few days she's not been wanting to eat at all and tensing her lips and moving her head away. I haven't been forcing her. She is breastfed and has been feeding fine.

I wondered why this is? She is teething so wondered if that has something to do with it. It seems very sudden and she just isn't interested and I'm worried it won't come back.

Im a FTM so new to all of this. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you x

My baby is just gone 6 months and we have been having the same. She's back to enjoying it again now. I think it was her teeth and it lasted about 5/6 days here x

Don't worry, you are still so early on in the weaning journey, most people don't even start weaning until at least 6 months. Her appetite and willingness to try things will fluctuate so just keep offering little tastes of things, no pressure, no stress, she will get back to it when she's ready!
