Recent kids' birthday present winners - any ideas please?

Sorry for the boring post! Has anyone's child been given or bought for a friend a great birthday present recently please?

My kids are 11, 9 and 4, they ALL have a few parties coming up and I'm totally exhausted and drained of ideas! Please help!

Particularly stuck for a boy turning 11. Tempted to just give money. In which case, is £10 in a card and some sweets OK? I'd normally spend £15 on a present but that seems an odd amount to put in a card and £20 seems too much.

Thanks for any ideas.

I’ve had a flurry of 4th birthdays. At all of them I’ve given plastic glasses from Tesco with jungle scenes on, and a curly straw round the outside.

Cheepo, but apparently much envied by other nursery classmates.
