When did you get rid of these toys?

Stacking rings, stacking cups, shape sorter etc. My ds 15 months can stack the rings although not in the correct order, would you wait until he could before you got rid of them? Same with shape sorter. I'm just overloaded with toys!

My almost 3 year old still occasionally uses his shape sorter. Less so the stacking rings but only because he can’t get a look in with the baby. Toddlers enjoy being able to succeed. Totally empathise regarding excess toys: feels like I live in a crèche. Maybe buy fewer toys?

they're the type of toy they keep going back to & the cups are great in the bath. Shes not even stacking them in order yet! Dont hurry her through her toys!

Kids come with lots of toys!! You'll never have a show home & a happy child.

I still have mine. Kids are 23, 20 and 18:😂I

I wouldn't be getting rid of them. Your child still plays with them!

I agree about keeping stacking cups forever. Great for water, sand and mud.

Stacking rings bin off

Stacking cups and Shape sorter id keep until 2.5 /3. These get good play again now my dd is 2.5
stacking cups poss longer they are good for everything. Bath, garden, play room.

You may want to look at toy rotation.
If you have too much stuff I'd be looking at soft toys and bulky plastic crap.

The stuff i hate most is the pointless stuffed toys. even after decluttering i am stuck with over 15 of the buggers. my DH refuses to let go of any more because "x bought it for DD!!!!!" so fucking what???
