Tonsils

Hi my nearly three year old constantly dribbles. Like a new bib needed every two hours. His tonsils look like the picture. They have looked like this since at least December so it's not tonsillitis. I spoke to the h/v about the drool but she sad he will grow out of it and it's probably still his teeth but I'm not sure. Any ideas or if they could be related.

Hi there did you get anywhere with this? My 2 and a half year olds tonsils look exactly the same and struggling with dribble and hands in his mouth constantly!

@gilmoregirlsonrepeat yeh we got referred to ent who have said his tonsils and adenoids need to come out. He's waiting on a sleep study test to see if it's causing sleep apnea. Think it's a 7 month wait for that. Then 2.5 year for actual surgery if he doesn't have sleep apnea.

Just adding to this, my DS had horrendous dribble. Gp refused to see him because they now don't see patients so advised over the phone that he was just a baby dribbling (he was 4 ffs and we were having to give him a new toddler bib every hour). Eventually I insisted on ent referral. Ent found enlarged adenoids and removed after a hearing test also showed glue ear. No more dribbling!
