looking for a balance bike but confused about so many options. DD is nearly 3 and we want to get her one. Budget is around 100-120 gbp. Which one would you recommend?

Vitus nippy. It's the lightest you can get, which makes it better for the child and also better for you when you end up carrying it all the time.

We got a second hand islabike for around £60, it's really light and easy for DD to lift and it has a brake, which most don't.

I'd also suggest the Vitus Nippy Superlight. The fact it weighs nothing makes it so easy to use.

I agonised for a bit about whether it was the wrong decision because it was so cheap, relatively, and what were we missing out on by not spending more... the only thing I could find was pneumatic tyres vs.

solid plastic wheels on the Nippy. Fortunately neither of my children have ever complained about bumps and they've both learnt to use it brilliantly.
