End date for private agreement child support?

Any advice on what age does a private child support agreement can legally stop? I believe this is between 18-19 years old when they have finished their A Levels?

Hi
I found this online but I gather that with a private agreement there is no set age, just what you agree is reasonable.

If it’s a private agreement and you haven’t set a date then it could end whenever really, if they wanted to stop paying it tomorrow then they could. However you could then go via CMS until the child is 16 or older if in full time education.

I’m not in this situation but I was just reflecting that with the cost of living and high living costs, it’s perhaps not easy to draw a definite line.
for example, in our household dc1 took a year out as an intern and is now working alongside studying and will be until age 22 ish. So we will be ‘maintaining /subsidising’ her for the foreseeable. We are grateful to be in a position for now to do so.
