Using creams on breast while breastfeeding

I went to the pharmacist for a small rash on my chest, it’s not near my nipple or anything it’s at the top but still on my breast - he told me to use canesten cream, he did say it’s safe to use while breastfeeding but I’m a little bit paranoid, has anyone used this cream on their breast while breastfeeding? Can it get into milk?

If the rash is dry skin related, you could use an ultra moisturising nipple balm which you know is safe for baby to ingest during feeding? One I know is safe for baby is Generation Mama Nipple Cream - it's 100% natural and plant based and I used before feeding sessions with my baby. As it works on sore nipples, I'm sure it would work on damaged/ sore skin?
