Hiya I'm brand new here, so bare with me please 🙏 haven't got the gang if the abbreviations! My baby is 10mouths and 2 weeks and she's just awesome.
But lately we've been having trouble with her sleeping. Restless through the night often having only 9.5hrs sleep and the only having 2 40mins naps in the day. She goes down for the naps like a dream but wakes up looking so sleepy still. Often when i pick.her up after the 40 she will rock back to sleep very easily, then sleep in my arms. Up untol now she was taking great naps in her cot. At night she may wake once or twice still, often for milk. And sometimes just to be settled. Its heart breaking to see her so sleepy. She looks exhausted 😩 she is on solids and still has milk during the day. She isn't teething, she is crawling but not quite cruising. She's a very active baby and loves going for walks, if that info helps someone to help me! Its been months now and i'd love some advice. I feel like a terrible mum at the moment. I just want her to rest and get back to her happy self. Thanks for any help!

All part of the developmental milestones. She'll be teething, you can't see it yet.

Baby sleep is crazy and not linear… she will get past this. I would just keep supporting her as best you can… rock her back to sleep after her 40 minutes. Looks like she can’t link her cycles consistently (completely normal and nothing to worry about) so just help her with it and she will get the hang of it when she is developmentally ready. Sounds like you help her through the night too which is great. Just keep doing it and supporting her and it will pass!
