Baby always been a fairly good sleeper and slept in cot in own room from 6 months.
We're not super rigid on routine but it is usually bath, calm time bottle and gradually rock to sleep before putting into cot semi awake then rub back until she falls asleep.
Since 12 months, she screams and screams as soon as we put her in the cot, desperate to be held again and it can take an hour and a half to get her to settle. Once asleep she usually sleeps through ok but sometimes cant settle so a couple of times we've caved and (safely) co slept in our bed with her.
She sleeps so soundly when she's next to me that I feel guilty putting her in cot but she was fine with it a couple of months ago.
Any advice? There must be better way to do bedtime
