Toddler hungry but can’t keep anything down

2 year old currently has a stomach bug. Has a bit of an appetite still and says he’s hungry, but throws up everything he tries to eat. He’s keeping fluids down luckily, just can’t eat.

Had a small bowl of Cheerios this morning with oat milk as it’s all he said yes to. Tried plain toast but didn’t want it. He managed to keep a small portion of porridge down for dinner last night but that’s all he had all day.

Any tips? He’s had a couple of stomach bugs before but this one is a bit worse.

Try grated apple.

Has he managed to keep anything else down yet?

I don’t normally like them but when my DS is unwell the Ella’s kitchen fruit pouches are a godsend as mine won’t drink much either. The pear ones are good. I wouldn’t normally suggest them as a lot of sugar but when they’re unwell all rules are out of the window!
