I just wondered if there was a SAHM thread on here?

I'm about to give up work to be at home with DD (DP has been SAHD and now going back to work). I am feeling excited/ anxious/ a tiny bit worried.

Hi Laugs,
I have no idea, but wanted you to have an answer!

I am a SAHM, last time I worked was 2 yrs ago but not in the UK, I have a 5yr old (nearly) and 11wk old.

I like being a SAHM because all my work has been with children/families so I fail to see why I would want to work only to give ds2 to someone else to look after, besides we are in a fortunate position of being ok atm on one wage.. it's unlikely to last this position but for now, it suits our family best.

How old are your child/ren?

I think your feelings are normal.. what worries you? I think it's important that as a sahm you still get to have time to be 'you' if that makes sense, to give you time to recharge your batteries.

How does DP feel?

when do you finish work?
