My Daughter just turn 2.5. She always saying "pee' and sit on a toilet but doesn't nothing. One night before bed i put her on toilet and she done a little wee i cheer her up saying Good girl. You done pee on toilet. Yaah big girl now. So last week i tried to potty training her.
Day 1 no sucess all accident. 7 8. Although i put her on potty every 30 mins.
Day 2 She woke up with poopy diaper. I change said you need to pee on toilet. But day 2 she hold her pee around 2 hour. But still done accident after sitting toilet for 8 mins. But when i take her to living room she done it.
Day 3 still accident no sucess
Day 4 tantrums
Day 5 and so on but no sucess. Shall i give up now ?
I thought she ready. Because she is clever girl.

We’re currently 2 weeks into potty training our dd. On day 3/4 I was absolutely on the verge of giving up. She’s sit on the toilet for ages and as soon as her leggings were back on she’d pee. I went back to bare bun and spent the day going “right we’re having a wee then we’re going to have lunch/do a puzzle/make cookies” etc. that day it suddenly clicked and we’ve had no accidents for a week now and she’s now asking to go to the toilet. I’ve also stopped doing a big song and dance when she peed as she didn’t like it and just give her a little well done and she’s a lot more receptive to that.

it’s so incredibly frustrating when there’s constant accidents, and very nearly pushed me to giving up. I’m glad I didn’t though. But I think you should trust your gut. If you think she can do it keep trying, if you think it might be best to wait maybe give it a few weeks
