Help!! Flavoured fairy

Hi all,
FTM and needing advice. I had a girls break as my first couple nights away from bubba. All was going fab but unfortunately little mama ended up ill in his fathers care. He’s not eating as much as norm, nor sleeping much and seems to be having a bit of belly pain.
he does have existing reflux issues which we have carobel for. However, the carobel has been working fab. The only difference is my partner picked up apple sensed fairy because it quote “goes with the kitchen” -
sorry I had to add it because away from the worry it did make me lol😭😂
but to the nitty gritty, I’ve come home and baby was refusing the bottle off his dad, a trick I normally do is pretend to eat it myself and then he’ll crack on. But no good. He hasn’t ate now since around 3/4 to my knowledge.. not too long but we did just go through a bulk every 1-2hr feeding phase. I sniffed the milk teet and it smelt like fairy, tasted it and yep there’s a little in there, not much but enough to feel a slight irritation at the back of your throat.

im now in a blinking panic, do I take him to a&e now? Monitor his behaviour? Idk what to do, it’s made me feel so guilty for not being here. I’ve re-washed the bottles and rinsed the soap out throughly and their all now sterilised, but im scared for how this could effect him
many help would be so appreciated!

Okay, read a previous post, followed the steps on there with infacol and he’s brightened up in mood so much! The belly pain has eased so I can imagine it was bubbles causing discomfort. Still think I’ll call the doctors tomorrow just to see if I need to take him in. Had a panic because (I forgot to mention) he’s only 5 months old and SIDS scares me so much.

Bubbles from the reflux or bubbles from this washing up liquid? I doubt he will have ingested that much.
My grandma put washing up liquid into my brother’s mouth for swearing - I’m not condoning this and her abusive behaviour is another story for another day, but my point is that he was absolutely fine afterwards. There must be small traces of it on everything that gets washed by hand, surely?

They wouldn't make washing up liquid, an item used to wash eating utensils, dangerous to ingest in small quantities OP. You're worrying over nothing

I struggled to make sense of a lot of your post. But the crux of it seems to be that your husband washed baby bottles in a washing up liquid you don't approve of and now the bottle smells a bit of it. I'm not sure what SIDS has got to do with the scent of the fairy liquid.

Your baby will be fine. You need to give yourself a shake and realise you're getting worked up over nothing.
