Probably not the best thread to post on but I am doing so in the hope of reaching other single mums. I am a single mum of 1, currently on Band 1 due to sofa surfing. I am aware it depends very much on your personal circumstances and where you live, but out of interest, how long did it take you to get a council house, which band and area did you live in please?
Just trying to get a general idea. It's all new to me!
Does anyone also know how fast you tend to move down the queue (on average), again I know it depends
