Nipples so sensitive!!

I'm 6 weeks postpartum, combi feed baby with formula and expressed breast milk. I pump a few times a day and suddenly I really can't stand the sensitive in my nipples. They're not painful at all They're just so sensitive and them being touched or grazed over goes right through me.
It's got to the point where I can lightly touch them over my padded bra and I can feel it in my nipples.
I cant dry them with a towel after showering and if I knock them on surface or arm etc. When getting out of shower it feels horrific.
Has anyone else had this and advice on how to stop it, I hate it so much!!!!

I empathise as I have similar … but I don’t have a definite answer for you! Perhaps it’s hormone related and the level of sensitivity will reduce given a bit more time. Perhaps in the meantime, these gel pads could help? I know you say it’s not linked to any soreness, but I wonder whether the soothing nature of these gel pads could go someway to help you cope with the sensation?
