Is my baby wanting to drop a bottle?

My LO is 14 weeks today and weighs approximately 14.5lb. For the last month, he has become awkward to feed, ever since his 8 week jabs his feeding seemed to change.

He was fighting the bottle, constantly turning his head as if to look at everything, just generally making feeds difficult. Fingers crossed we seemed to be getting there now 🙏🏼.

He has however been starting to play with his bottle at the 4th feed of the day. We offer him between 7 and 8oz every 3 and a quarter hours roughly. The first 3 he tends to finish (definitely takes 7oz), not a problem, done in just over 10 minutes mostly but when it comes to the 4th feed, he seems to just find it funny. He will take about 3.5/4oz and then just start playing with it. Will sit there smiling with it in his mouth, starts to blow the milk back out of the sides and just generally won't take anymore. I've tried to give him a break, burp him, walk around the garden for 5 minutes and come back and this did work once and he finished the bottle, but majority of the time he won't have it.

Is he trying to tell me he doesn't want it? I would be happy to drop to 4 bottles a day if he were to take more at each feed to make up for it but I'm not sure he would.

Any suggestions? It's so frustrating! Some feeds he's absolutely brilliant, other feeds he can be a little monkey!
