i have got a lo 2.7 and also a dss 8.5 who has been with us for a week- now i love him to death before i get flamed but i literally have not stopped all week how do all youmums of more than one do it?? i have just finished doing all my floors and washing etc after taking them out to a ball pool and i will be honest have just poured myself a glass of wine cos i am absolutely knackered i have done all the usual stuff you know painting ,card making going for walks you know just stuff that i usually do but it has just been chaos!! sorry i know probably i sound like a mad woman but i really do admire you all !!

That's a tricky age gap though, because they won't have the same interests and unless your DSS is particularly good with toddlers, you'll be doing separate things with them. I have an 8 year old and a 3 year old and I've put her into afternoon nursery so I don't have them together too much

playschool, neglecting the housework and wellies so they can be booted into the garden no matter the weather.

mine are close in age though... 3 and 20 months, dunno what i'd do with an older kid. lots of video games i'd imagine!
