Not keeping on top of things

I’m four months pp, my daughter wakes regularly so I’m of course very exhausted. I’ve got so much gardening etc to do but have zero energy. So as well as feeling super tired, I feel super guilty for not keeping on top of things.

Is this normal?

Most definitely normal xx

Completely normal. You have to lower expectations when you have a baby (and then lower them yet further if you have a second, as I've just learnt). It's hard, but you simply can't get everything done like you did before kids. Don't even attempt to

You're only 4 months PP OP and there's a reason that sleep deprivation can be used as a form of torture.

Have the basics been done like mowing the lawn? If not, have you got a DP/DH who could do it? Is paying someone an option?

I think at 4 months you need to outsource as much as you can afford to like cleaning and gardening and cut yourself some slack Flowers
