Should I be worried that my 16 month old has quite hairy eyebrows I keep seeing videos saying that it’s a genetic defect and it’s freaking me out.

I've just looked up what genetic condition might be associated with thick eyebrows. Do you mean Sanfilippo Sydrome? Have you had a look at images on google? Your LO looks in no way like those DC?

I mean this very kindly, I think you may have some anxiety and need some support. PND can manifest as health anxiety. Do you think you may be struggling with that?8

Those eyebrows aren't even hairy! Poor kid looks perfect. Please seek help for your anxiety and enjoy your lovely child.

She looks fine to me. Nothing at all unusual about those eyebrows. She's very cute.

From a mother with a child with a genetic syndrome. There would be other signs.. you would know. She looks like a cutie

Your child is gorgeous and has perfect eyebrows.

You say your doctor keep giving you tablets so presumably that's linked to your being worried or anxious.

You might benefit from some kind of talking therapy as well to get through this irrational fear that something is wrong? Can you get that kind of help? I know waiting lists are long but it's helped me.

Fingers crossed you get what you need and are able to enjoy life with your lovely child without having to worry so much.

Are you taking the tablets @Jcw2015? They might help to ease the constant anxiety.

I agree with @ohhollyfred you would definitely have other signs showing apart from eyebrows if your lovely LO has Sanfilippo Syndrome or any major genetic condition.

Could you speak to your HV instead of the GP? She might know of some local support groups for Mums with PND. You might be able to self refer to talking therapies in your area or your HV might be able to do it for you.

Have you spoken to PANDAS Foundation yet? Their lines don't open again until 10am on Tuesday but they have other ways to support you.

I really would seek all of the help you can get so that you can start to enjoy your beautiful baby Flowers
