How to dry breast milk up, very engorged and in pain

I'm nearly a month pp
No longer breastfeeding sadly so I want to try fry milk up fast as I'm getting very irritated by the engorgement, pain and constant leaking everywhere

Currently I'm wearing a very tight bra and I'm expressing for 30 seconds - 1 minute every 4 hours when I get to the point of being in agony

Any tips ? X

I'd skip the tight bra, it's going to make you more uncomfortable and risk mastitis.

Decongestants such as sudafed are a known risk for drying up milk so not recommended when Bf so ....

How long since you stopped?

No idea sorry @August21yellowbaby but if you've stopped suddenly and are wearing a tight bra, it sounds as though you're risking Mastitis.

Hope you get some answers soon Flowers

I expressed and reduced the times and duration. I went through days of pain/discomfort when I dropped from 6x expressing to 5x I think it was but otherwise it then went ok for the rest. This was at 4-5weeks pp.

I also used cabbage leaves which I have no idea if it’s a myth to dry up milk but it also gave me a bit of relief coming from the fridge.
