Siblings babysitting?

At what age did you allow your children to babysit younger siblings? For the evening not to nip to the shop etc, so an evening out?

Never.

Sorry, forgot to add that all our dc have SEN so they will never be able to babysit for each other.

My eldest was 15 and baby sat her 7 year old sister .. First time.

I’m mother to an only. My bro was a lot older. He babysat from 16, so I was then at primary school. It was fantastic, I watched The Old Grey Whistle test 😀
