My LO has never scratched their face before, and had their nails trimmed a few days ago. He was with someone else when I stepped out of room for 2 minutes. When I came back they had a really deep search about 1cm long on side of nose under eye. Very red and slightly bleeding. I was really shocked as looked sore and never happened before. He didn’t have anything under his nails - is this normal though, for such a deep scratch to happen?
