Accidentally gave baby old breast milk

Hi,
please no tellings offs I know it was stupid and could have been avoided…I guess sleep deprivation played a part!

so I went shopping with my 14 week old on Wednesday. He is breast fed but I had pumped some milk and put it in a bottle as I needed it to be a quick trip and didn’t want to find somewhere to BF if he wanted feeding (I feed on demand so it’s hard to predict). Anyway he started to cry when I was in the queue so I attempted to give him his bottle whilst trying to get all the shopping onto the conveyor…this was obviously not going to work, having a bit of milk appeased him whilst I finished paying for the shopping. I then sat on the bench in the supermarket to finish the bottle.

anyway today I was sorting out my baby bag to go out and I realised I had made a terrible mistake, I had actually given my baby a bottle from a couple of days before that I hadn’t taken out my bag! I know because at the time I remember thinking it didn’t look like enough milk and that it must have leaked but when cleaning out my bag I found the fresh new bottle.

my baby seems fine other than he hasn’t pooed since yesterday evening and he is normally very regular.

is this something I need to be worried about? I’m mindful that he drank the milk on Wednesday and it is now Friday so surely if he were to be unwell he would be by now?

thank you!

If he were going to be ill it would’ve happened by now.
