Can anyone recommend anything for DD please? I use Flo but she doesn't need the 'secret conversations' access! She has an iphone if that makes a difference.

Oky - it's made by Unicef and only asks for minimal information to use it.

My teens use Clue

That was exactly what concerned us when looking for an app for our daughter. You might try TeenCycle. Full disclosure, our family created it to be simple, private, and age-appropriate, without chat features or adult content. All her info stays on her phone; there's no cloud store. It requires no account and is available on iPhone and Android. It's free for 7 days, and then it's a one-time payment of $9.99
