With both of my kids?

DS is 2.5
DD is 4mo

Both sleep better next to me and DH (separately never had them in together) DS does a few nights a week fully in his room but tends to creep in 3/4am most nights

DD has never slept well in her next to me, done 2 hours max in there. We’ve done the safe co sleeping position but if it’s a night DS wakes to get in our bed I’m then up every hour because she’s waking in her cot.

so not getting much sleep but cant have them
both next to me in the bed

what age is it safe for all of us to be in the bed?

sinceley a mum dreaming of sleep

NB: DD doesn’t sleep ages in general but we’ve we’ve done the sleep co sleeping position she’s done some 3-5 hour stretches which are glorious.

I think now? Put the toddler one side and the baby the other. Husband in a different bed or next to toddler. I'm sure this is how humans evolved to sleep. I couldn't get any sleep like that but if you, go for it!

I had two in my bed from younger as was on. My own.
toddler oneside and baby the other. Toddler had a fleece onesie so no need for covers

This is exactly why we went from cots to king size beds.

I blame DH because he is just a total cuddle person, but all my children sleep better with another person. So long as two in every bed everyone sleeps. Which is the preferred option when all so little

I know a couple who got rid of their bedframe and only uses a king-size mattress to sleep in. The couple sleeps with their ds and DD like that and no problems.
