My 3 year old can’t keep water down and has been sick all day. She has a low grade temp on and off. Only had one wee today and hasn’t pooed for over 24 hours. She is super lethargic and in and out of sleep. Is this normal?

If they can't keep water down and only dove one wee I would call the doctors for advice (or out of hours if you read this after docs has shut).

Would they eat an ice lolly? Might be a way to get some fluids in x

Thanks we are going to see doctor late. Will try the ice lolly idea. She takes the ice water but is then sick. I guess just worried about dehydration

No wee for 12 hours then go straight to A and E. With a very lethargic child then definitely see GP.

You can try and syringe 5 ml of water into her mouth every 5/10 mins.

With lethargy and minimal urine output I would definitely seek medical advice. Dehydration can be very serious.

Hi All, GP didn’t see too concerned just said keep trying with fluids little and often and if she’s still the same come back..

Hi All, day 3 and my little one is still throwing up. She now keeps asking for food but throws it up again. Still very tired and lethargic. Has anyone’s kids had a tummy bug with no diarrhoea?

Does she have any symptoms of a cold?
