Feeding concerns regarding 10 week old baby

Any advice welcome...🤗

My LO is currently 10 weeks old & her feeding is so up and down!
She takes between 500-600mls a day. She had between 2-4oz every 2-4hours.

She weighs around 10lbs and should be having 675mls a day.

She did have a tongue tie at birth which was snipped before we left hospital.
She does have Gaviscon for reflux and we use the kendamil drops too.
Her latch was really poor on the MAM bottles so we have changed her over to lansinoh.

Should I be trying to encourage more feeds? 🤔
She seems very happy and content... I just keep hearing how we should be on about 6oz every 3-4 hours etc etc.

Thank you in advance x

If baby is happy and content and gaining weight I wouldn't worry too much. The guides are simply that, a guide and not gospel. You know your baby best. My DD is just over 4 months now but has only been having 6oz every 3-4 hours for the past 2 weeks and according to the tin she should be on 7oz but I know that she wouldn't drink that yet. You're doing amazing x

As PP says. My DD is 5 months and has 5ozs every 3 hours, sometimes she only takes 3ozs. She's moved up from 8th centile at birth to between 25th and 50th now so gaining weight well. She's so happy and content, plenty of wet nappies etc so I'm not worried.

My oldest never ate the full amount recommended on the tin either xx

As long as she's growing then it's just guidance so don't worry. If she were BF you would have no idea how much she was drinking & would be guided by growth/weight gain.
