I can't be at home with my child

I'm really struggling to spend time with my 3.5 Y/O at home. Recently we've had to do a lot of work in the house so me and DP have been taking it in turns to watch DS while the other does the work. Today and a lot of yesterday my DP did a lot of work while I took care of DS. Yesterday we kept busy out of the house for most of the day and had a great time. Today has been much harder as with the rain, we only popped out briefly. I think when I'm at home, I only really want to chill a bit. If we start playing, I get super distracted and stressed seeing that somewhere needs a bit of a tidy/clean. I know DS gets frustrated that I can't quite concentrate in these scenarios and gets quite loud and aggressive. Anyone else ever feel like this? I'm not sure I've explained it brilliantly.

Hi OP

I remember days like this when my 2 were toddlers! Rainy days were always hard. I would defiantly suggest getting him a puddle suit and some welly boots! That way he can jump in puddles and get a little muddy which might help him run off some steam.
soft play is always great if you can get to a nice; cheap one.
hang on in there!
