Illegal AuPair, what to do?

I was meeting a group of friends/acquaintances for dinner and one of those present mentioned they were planning to bring an AU Pair from EU country to look after her nursery age DC, to do nursery runs, evening babysitting, etc.
Now, when we asked her if the au pair would be a student given after brexit the old EU scheme is not working, that woman said "no, she would be coming on visitor visa for 6 months abd then leaving". They plan to house her, feed her ,pay for transport, etc and give about £80-100 pw pocket money.

She was completely unphased by the comments on legalities as "l9cal nanny is super expensive" , "au pair from Australia or NZ is a headache", "we want kids to learn Spanish",and so on.

Now, I can see a list of risks here, from the obvious, the whole setup being illegal (and done in obnoxious, who cares, way) to child wellbeing (DBS checks are not a consideration given the setup). This whole story does not seat well with me.

What would you do?
