Hi,

DS is 2 in a couple of weeks, any birthday gift ideas please? I’m thinking about getting a micro scooter or a balance bike as a “big” present. Just unsure of what day to day toys to get at this age!

Thanks.

We took our DD to a toy shop and let her pick out two or three small items. That made it into a day out as well! At this age it's a bit less risky too, as you can steer them towards less costly things.

My two year old currently is very into puzzles, and building toys like magnatiles and sticjle bricks, we have a few of fisher price linkimals that are interactive that are a massive hit, toys that move along such as trains, cars etc, a mini toy kitchen with velcro food that she can cut with a toy knife, she enjoys making us dinners and stuff now.. threading toys, toy hoover, but is also getting into the more pretend play bits and loves plastic toy dinosaurs and animals.
