Football net being chewed through by wildlife

Have to keep replacing my sons football net because something squirrel or fox? Is chewing through the net! Any solutions? It's driving us mad

Take the net off the frame when not in use. That way no animal can get trapped in it either, which can be very distressing for them.

Just remove it unless he's using it.

...or put up a 'No squirrels' sign.
